Board of Deacons

The Board of Deacons is entrusted with the ministries of care and compassion for the congregation. They provide transportation and meals, send cards of care and joy, and make hospital and home visits as needed. Included in these visits is the offer of bringing the sacrament of Holy Communion. The board maintains a fund to help with emergency needs; this fund is sustained by a monthly offering from the congregation. Deacons are elected by the congregation and are ordained by the PC(USA).

Dollars for Deacons are collected about once a month to provide funds for cards, stamps, and assistance to our congregation in need.  Since we are not meeting in-person at this time, funds have not been collected to provide some financial assistance.  If you have greeting cards you would like to donate, please make an appointment with the office to drop them off!  If you would like to send in a donation, use the Donate tab and submit your donation—be sure to indicate that your donation is for the deacons!  Thank you!

Meet and Greet

The Meet and Greet is usually held in February of each year.  The congregation gets the opportunity to meet their assigned deacons and get acquainted.  Due to COVID, a meet and greet was not held in 2021.  Below are pictures from the 2020 Meet and Greet.
